I’m Morgan Stern, and throughout my career, I’ve been at the forefront of emerging technologies that have transformed industries and reshaped the world. My passion is helping organizations accelerate their adoption of new technologies and realize their full potential. I believe that technology alone isn’t enough—it takes the right experience and strategic guidance to truly drive meaningful business outcomes.

From the Early Days of the Internet

Early in my career, I was part of a pioneering team that created one of the first B2B e-commerce sites on the Internet. This experience opened my eyes to the massive shift that was coming and the need for businesses to adapt. Leveraging this insight, I authored three books focused on helping enterprises transform using internet technologies. My goal was to demystify these innovations and provide clear, actionable guidance for businesses to gain an advantage in a rapidly changing landscape.

Transforming the Telecommunications Industry

In the 2000s, I shifted my focus to the wireless telecommunications industry. I collaborated with major telecom companies worldwide to accelerate the deployment of critical wireless technologies, from 3G to 4G and eventually 5G. This era brought unprecedented connectivity, and my mission was to help these companies lay the foundations for a new digital age. I realized that while technology was driving companies to change, the most successful knew that the real change had to be on the culture.  Technology was only 10% of the solution, the rest was people, process, and attitude shifts. The work I did in this field helped telcos expand their reach and enabled a new wave of mobile innovation by combining technology with organizational transformation. 

Driving Cloud Adoption and Network Automation

By the 2010s, I was drawn to the enormous potential of cloud computing. I worked with organizations to navigate the complexities of cloud migration, helping them scale their infrastructure, skills, processes, and services with agility and efficiency. Later in the decade, I partnered with some of the largest networking companies in the world to adopt automation and orchestration, driving massive gains in productivity and speed to market. The introduction of automation was not just about efficiency—it was about empowering teams to focus on strategic initiatives instead of repetitive tasks.

Unlocking the Potential of AI

Today, I see artificial intelligence as the next frontier—one with the potential to be as transformative as the internet or wireless technologies. AI, however, is not a magic bullet, and its real value is only unlocked when it is guided by experience and subject matter expertise. The initial hype around chatbots and buzzwords is fading, and I’m working with companies to go beyond superficial applications and focus on real, measurable benefits. I draw on my 30 years of experience and the lessons I’ve learned in helping companies adapt to disruptive technologies to understand how best to apply AI and related technologies to drive business impact.

My approach centers on translating complexity into clarity—making sure that strategic goals are always at the heart of technological investments.
